Prohibition of Bathing in Buddhism
Gautam Buddha banned his Buddhist Monks from taking bath, and
also Prohibited Buddhists from using *Perfume
Was Bathing daily a Brahminical Superstition?
Thread (1/6)
Buddhist Monks thought all of public property was their to use, such selfishness caused trouble to the King of Magadha
So, Gautam Buddha made a rule,
"Buddhists are allowed to take bath, only after half a month has passed"
It became an offense to bathe daily in Buddhism

Under certain conditions, a Buddhist is allowed to take bath before half a month has passedThere is no offense if the Buddhist takes bath after half a month, or more than a month,
or doesn't take bath at all. That is only counted as wrong conduct
There is no offense if the Buddhist takes bath, accidentally, by mistake

Gautam Buddha said, in Tevijja Sutta,
"Hindu Scriptures are Useless, and a Disaster. Anyone who follows Hindu scriptures, is a Blind Fool"
Maybe because Hindu scriptures prioritize hygiene and cleanliness?

Using Toilets is also forbidden by Buddha
Street Shitting in India was started by Buddha
because Buddhist Nuns were Aborting their children in Toilets. (But who impregnated them?)
Same chapter in Pali - भिक्खुनियो तत्थेव गब्भं पतेन्ति।
